A couple of months ago my female red tiger Mota was badly beaten by the male, they were both young with the female being well under 4 inches ...The female developed a very bad fungus that started from the base of her pectoral fins all the way to the base of her caudal fin... After moving to a hospital tank and being treated she made a recovery.... The recovery however at least visually / cosmetically was not complete, she was left with a scarred area on her midsection where the skin and scales did not grow back fully and around where her abdomen joins the rest of her body it was missing a section.. looked like she had been spayed/neutered or whatever you want to call it and the chances of her being able to produce eggs and spawn would be zero... I was okay and accepting of that because I was happy i was able to keep her alive. A few weeks ago when she seemed hardy enough I moved her to my 120 where I have some other parachromis and a hybrid ...To get to my point the first thing I noticed unusual about her was she was defecating out the side of her body.. about the rest I'm going to let the pictures speak for themselves, and see if it's noticeable what has occurred...like to hear feedback and or similar situations.....
