Hey everyone, I haven't posted on the site in a while, but I got a 55 gallon a few months ago, and it's just been gathering dust in my basement, and I got the idea to try and do a habitat-type tank, where there would be both a water section and a land section.

Does anyone know how I might go about setting this up?

I'm mainly curious about how I would separate the land and water (I was thinking something like siliconing a piece of glass in place), and also, how exactly might I go about filtering the water section? I wanted to do something like having a waterfall at the top of the land section, and it would flow down into the water area, but I have no idea how to do this.

Any ideas?

Input would be very nice!
Thanks in advance,
GobyMaster

I wanted there to be a few types of fish in there, and a few types of herptiles in there, as well.

I haven't fully decided what the herps will be, but I was thinking that, depending on if I went tropical or temperate, that I would either have maybe Green Anoles and Green Treefrogs, or just some common true frogs, like maybe Green Frog or Leopard Frog.

Yeah, that would be cool, but I have never seen Mudskipper for sale in any of my LFS, or online for that matter.

And, I don't want to spend too much money on the inhabitants, so I am probably going to just go with a group of tetra or something.
