So I went out today and got 3 redhead Tapajos Geos added them to the tank and my male sajica is terrorising them. He is being a right nasty piece of work continually chasing them around, nipping them, bom diving at them when their backs are turned. Will this settle down or should I just re-home him? Its been going on all afternoon and it is also unsettling my very peaceful EBJD - he has gone a really dark blue/black.

Sajicas are midlevel as far as aggression....one notch below a convict imo. There's always exceptions though. You could get an extremely aggessive or mild one.

take a net and move it around in the tank st scare him so his mind is on something else

That wont work because as soon as I stop doing it he will continue with his rampage.

fill up a bucket and put him in it for an hour or so, this always works for me.

Trying that but he doesnt want to be caught!

He's still doing it. The smallest geo is quite gutsy and not letting it bother him but the other two larger ones are in hiding and are being wimpy. I know that if they just stick up for themselves he will stop doing it but it doesnt look like they are going to, so I think that unless they stand up to him he will carry on doing it. My once peaceful tank has now turned into a war zone!

just give it some time, just working out dominance in the tank. i have also just taken him out put him in a bucket for a day or so with a sponge filter or atleast a bubbler and a small submersible heater, or just put him in my holding tank.
