He just uses a few drops of some sort of liquid (it is safe for aquariums) that makes the water glow, and then a black light. It makes everything glow, which is kinda neat. In a few hours it will be back down to a normal aquarium, with crystal clear water and normal looking fish!

ha... i just put a 420nm bulb ontop of my reef tank and my corals do that! no chemicals needed. AND its good for them! pretty cool though!
