...Texas cichlid, right? Can anyone tell me which kind and maybe the sex? He/she is about 6-7 inches. Appreciate any info. It's in a 75 now....but soon going to a 125. Thanks in advance!

good on you for helping the lil guy out. Looks male to me based on body shape, and looks like a hericthys carpintis based on the markings.
