It got painted (white) 2 weekends ago. I wanted to have a unique look for it, so I bought some paint and whent to work.

Tape and paper:

Painting takes a few minutes between dry times. Taping takes forever!:

Tape over the things you want to stay pink then paint balc, for a nice outline.

Well today, 3 days after my paint job, It rained, the paint sticked fine! I was on my way home to wash my car because i wanted to take some pictures of the final result so I can show them to my cousine who loves my car. I took some pictures alright:

So, I got out from class at the usuall time and jumped in my car. Normaly my car is wet on the inside when it rains, but today it wasn't. I took a way out of the parking lot that I never take. This was the result:

I was going the speed limit on in the paring lot road and their was a stop sign that I was unawair of... At the last second I locked up my brakes and slid right into the rear of a Stratus. His car was pretty much fine, like some of my paint on it and a 2"X2" hole in his bumper, that I need to replace. This sucks.:irked:

What I realy hate is that i didn't get a chance to take a picture when i was all done. Damage wise, the radiator it bend in but holds fluid. The car runs fine. The hood if destroyed and so is the latch that holds it their.

It was looking great til the wreck. Hope you can get it back looking good again.

Murphys law my friend. I went through a similar situation when I was in high school, got my s-10 all rimmed up and dropped and painted. Only difference in the two story's is it wasn't me who was unaware of the stop sign.
Just have to put in a lil more work I guess. Good luck with round two of the body work.

That tiny dent in the front makes it unique!!!

Seriously though, that sucked big time!

its barely noticeable. Little bondo awta do the trick.
