Well, I took the plunge with an EBJD in my 55 gallon Geo Redhead tank. The tank is a 55 gallon that houses:
- 2 Redhead Tapajos, breeding pair (5 years old)
- 1 L200 Green Phantom Pleco (10 years old)
- 4 Colombian Tetras (dither)
Last night I bought a gorgeous EBJD from my local fish store. Beautiful 2-3" specimen. Great body shape, great colors, and very robust.
I know the deal with these guys, so I'm being realistic. Good news is: tank is 10 years old, very well established system, very well filtered (wet dry AND canister) and has a sand bottom.
I'll try and snap some pics but I'm letting the little guy settle in. So far he's happily picking through the sand.
