well I traded my 12" Banded knife for 9"s of scrawny fish

my new cb del you can see how small he is when compared to the green beans that are in there for all those mystery snails and you can see the ghost shrimp that are half his sizecb del 1.jpg
here is the del in the bag with the BGKin the bag.jpg
here is my tiny albino sennew albino 1.jpg

yeah I already had an albino and a wc del but the little cb del had such good patterns i had to get him and I figured the banded knifefish was worth more so i had them throw in the albino to even it out. I do have to grow them out a little before they go in the big tank I' thinking a month or 2 is all I'll need

when I got him and put him in the bichir tank he would go after anything that would come near his hide on the 3rd day I caught him cruising the tank looking for a fight so he went into a tank I had plans on using as a growout tank for my bristlenose. If I was able to have more tanks I would of kept him in his own tank because I did enjoy hand feeding him even if when I didn't have a worm for him he would attack me. Also in that tank is a common pleco(that is leaving soon) and a common bristlenose(also leaving) and a couple days ago the banded knifefish got 2 white spots on his head that looks like we a pleco sucks the slime coat on a bichir. This started right about the time the knifefish started letting the pleco share his hide

the patterns on the CB del are out of this world! Sounds the banded knife was picking fights. But the good news is you can always get one later if you decide to. Maybe your tiny albino sen and tiny CB del can be friends with my tiny albino sen and tiny CB del. Yours has a lot better patterns. Mine looks like a tooth pic right now lol. Maybe they will get a huge growth spurt like Tommy. How's he and the rest of the gang doing?

well Tommy the teug has slowed her growth and is hanging around 8.5" she has been hanging out with Damn It(5.5") the reg sen and Harley(6.5") the albino sen, The Moke(9") is very active and likes to hang out with his 2 big girls Tommy and Dave(10") the del. The ornate is about 5" now and still looking great she likes to perch on random things(and fish). My fire eel is finally back to his old self after the move to the 100 gallon I think 3 months ago and has started to put girth on and has become a very greedy eater.

I'm thinking of naming the new del "What The" because he seems to like to contort his body in strange positions the way Damn It did when I first got him. Luckily I haven't thought he was dead yet like I did the 1st couple times with Damn It

Sounds like everyone is growing and doing their thing! Glad to hear that your fire eel is feeling better too. Is the fire eel in with the polys? Would love to see some pics of the ornate perching on everything and some new pics of tommy and the moke.:) sounds like they've all been growing and are having fun.
