I.V. Line durning watter change?

Idk if you can purcjase them but i was thinkin ited be really easy if i got like the ov line and bag like they ise at the hospital and fill the bag with dechlorinator and then stick the needle in the main hose goin into the tank and adjust the drip so it doses the gallons as it goes... Has anyone ever tried this?

I have thought about it, but if it fails you will kill everything, that is if there is enough water flow for it to matter. I found that I could add 50 gallons a day to my 100 gallon system without the need for dechlorinator. My area used chlorine only and with heavy aeration it would just evaporate into the air fast enough to not matter. I know h2o custom aquatics had a doser for dechlor for the system. It was like at least 20000 gallons total though.

Oo... Well i have a whole buncj of loose activated carbon... Can i jus pit that on a filter sock or somethin and shove it in the end of the wc hose?

And that would be? Lol put the carbon in the bottle... Poke holes... Put on end of hose? Lol i can only assume

Yes sir, some water bottles nozzle will fit a hose, that way you pre filter a lot of the chlorine but for the ammo crap you still need a tad of dechlor, I use this method and 1/4 dose my tank with prime. So far so good, fish are noticeably less stressed after wc.
