well I have reserved the clarias cat I did my last thread about, really excited! cant wait to get the big fella/girl home and settled......he/she is in with various cichlids (most smaller than mine) and a few other oddball fish....all seemed perfectly happy, and I watched him for a good half hour or so....and he didn`t appear to be bothering with any of the other fish....quite a few of which he could easily eat I might add! I went to take a pic and realised I had the camera on the phone set to video, so grabbed a (very brief) clip of him....I think he`s stunning!!

thanks....fell in love with him at first sight last week or week before (cant remember lol) I have been giving myself headaches reading up on them since then! I am getting very mixed opinions on them overall....so am going to give it a go and just keep a very close eye on things! but from the little I have seen of him he seems really laid back, and all the other fish in the tank looked in perfect condition...no chunks missing or bite marks etc.

Good looking indeed. Mixed opinions usually means things vary for different keepers and depend on circumstances. Quite often the same fish can behave differently in a different tank, water, on a different diet, and with different tank mates. Their biology is complex and we are very far from understanding what triggers what. Be vigilant and keep us posted, please. Good luck :)
