You need to search through the DIY section and take a look at all the different tank builds. There is a lot of knowledge and effort that goes into building a tank. Do a lot of research and figure out what you need to do. Once you have decided how you want to proceed, feel free to ask any questions.

You have come to the right place for help, there is only 1 problem... a 150 is not really price efficient for building vs buying, if you use the search tool you can find several tank builds in the DIY section. Video tutorials could be hard to come by as it takes some time to build these tanks... everyone measurements and requirements are different as well.

Yes, 300+ gallons is where the efficiency of build vs buy comes in to play.

best start i can give you advice on is to figure out where you want the tank, and how big you can possibly go. Once you figure that out im sure enough people here can help with any questions you have. I just built my first 225 all glass tank about a month ago, quite the learning experience, several different renditions and ideas changed throughout the setup so get an idea what you wanna house and where you wanna house it.
