i wanna a pleco

Hey guys im wanting to get a pleco but dunno witch one to get. I only have a 55g tank so i want one that wont out grow it. Any suggestions?

You need to look at the stickies here about plecos, do some research on PlanetCatfish, figure out what you want and how much you are willing to spend. Everyone here has their personal favorites. I like royals but will eventually outgrow your tank. Blue or green phantoms are an excellent choice but usually pricier. Comes down to personal preference but check out this thread.

i vote clowns, rubberlips are nice too dont get very big so they wont be a huge bioload, alino bristlenose can be very nice especialy with dark gravel tigers are a fave too.

just picked up a rubberlips tonight for my 55, am told they only get about 6 inches at most. definitely the coolest looking one I saw at the LFS
