I wanna get a arowana but need info help plz

I am wanting to get a arowana. And i need to know wht too feed them. And what tank size will i need. A silver arowana i want. And would a 100 size tank be big engh. And any other info u can give me. All will be apriciated.

100 is ok for a few months, You can feed them MP,pellets,FD Krill, and worms

feed em Fd krills,pellets,market prawn,worms and i recommend a 8x3x2 tank as the min size tank for life and as said 100 gallon last few months and silvers grow to 3-4 ft and keep the tops sealed securely and they grow 1"-1.5" per month

You want to get AN arowana! AN!!!!


If you're looking for predators for the 100g you could get some bichirs (the species would depend on the footprint of the tank), otherwise just go to the shop or get a big book and look for fish you like the look of. Everyone has different tastes in fish and no one can really tell you what you should keep [other than because the obvious restrictions like tank size etc].

silvers get really huge and really fast.

your really going to want a tank that is 24-30" wide since they are a long fish and need the room to turn around .. they also like to swim so having a longer tank is better as well .. i would say a 6-8 foot long and 30 inch wide tank would be the smallest i would go to keep them for life
