I want a Bulldog

yup. but they cost like $2000... and if im going to drop $2000 on a dog (after i check the pound) i would like to know what to look for in a puppy.

anything in particular or just go with the coolest one there?

Look for the most playful and active puppy. What kind of bulldog are you looking for? American, English, or French?

what don't they have,lol.....well cherry eye,entropion eyelids,my male had a lost testie,breathing problems,allergies like pollen,dog food,aerosol sprays,certain detergents or dryer sheets.they can't walk far because of their smushed noses,they don't breath in enough air,they can't get overheated or they puke or pass out,they eat literally everything.my red and white-bugaboo-has hip problems.

I agree research the breed and find out what you're getting into, and what kind of time/money commitment. Find out everything from usual traits that most will carry, to behaviours that seem to be in the breed to, medical illness' that run high in the breed.

I would suggest that for any dog breed.

i wish we would have gotten a frenchie,bulldogs only live like 8 years too.mine r 2 years old.
