Okay, I know I wont but I want one so bad.

150 is 84x18x24 and stock is:
2 x Oscar 8-10"
3 pictus 3-6"
3 synos 2-8"
1 fire eel

How long will it take to reach 16"? Realistically I can upgrade in 1-2 years,
I've been looking around haven't seen many over 18-20" and I know an 18 inch fish isn't ideal in a 18 inch foot print but my god are they cool.

They're not the fastest growers but I doubt they would make the 2 year mark with out an upgrade. A year may be pushing it.

I was just wondering, I knew I couldn't really house it! Why isn't there a dwarf clown ha..

I like the 84 length.. I'll hold off till I get a 300+

mine surpassed 16 inches in one year. however he has maxed out at around 20 (even though he gets lots of exercise) and is growing much slower now.

Get rid of the oscars, and the synos, make sure the water hardness is low or lower it (i used RO and slowly acclimated him to my tap water) And then you could get a small-ish one big enough not to get eaten by your fire eel or catfish. As small as possible but with those large-ish fish a baby may not make it, they are rather fragile until they reach 5-6 ins

A few years ago i bought a 8" royal clown. By the same date next year he was 18". He was the boss of the tank, always ate first and the most.
