would it be okay to keep a giant gourami in a 130 gallon , untill it reaches the 17" mark then move it to like a 300g stock tank or pond?
my real question is where can I get these stock tubs cheap?
and how long will it take for the gourami to grow out the 130?

Hey a GG would be fine in a 130 for quite some time a year any way you can get the stock tanks at a farm supply store they are sold as water troughs.
