Hi y'all Im 14 work ata local fishstore I have been in the hobby since I was 5 right know I have a 55 gallon sps reef tank so Im vary experienced in the hobby but I have a 125 just sittin around and thought I wanted a sting ray any tips on what moto ray to get is a moto a smart chicks how do I tell the difference in spicies? It will only have the ray unless if there is some small schooling fish that I could add that won't nip at it's fins for filtration I was just going to do 3 Aqeon 55s? And goin with a sand bottom it's at my dads house but he's been in the hobby for about 16 years so I think he can take care of it what's the smallest type of ray? Thanks my one local freshwater store near me sells Motos for $50 which I didn't think was to bad they called them teacups I know this is the size after doin some research oh and ph and hardness are no prob I deal with that in my reef all the time

read lots of info before u get any rays, 125 is to small for rays.
sorry. you could keep a small one for maybe a cpl months but thats it, save up and get a bigger tank with extra filtration. plan ahead, rays need lots of space. when it comes to filtration and water changes and food, double what ever you are thinking is a good rule of thum with rays. good luck.
