help me with ideas , iam thinking of another catfish that would live its life happily with my spotted rapheal, betta, cherry barbs. the tank is a 25 gallon with 36in length, 10.5in width and 15 in height , this is the water columns measurements, temp range of 72f-86f, ph 7.6 and medium hardness for the water.

iam thinking of doing this second catfish idea or kuhli loaches , all depends on me being able to get a catfish that can overcome the kuhlis coolness.

please help, gone through planetcatfish and the ones i like are a either to big or to uncommon.

neeeeeedddd suggestions.

Hara hara, Kryptopterus minor, Microglanis iheringi, Synodontis Nigriventis, Tatia Perugiae, MIcrosynodontis Polli, Brachyrhamdia rambarrani, Hara Jerdoni, Amblydora Hancockii,
Hope this helps you.

iam going to do one o two choices

1 two banjo catfish and another spotted rapheal
or
2 two banjo catfish

the max size on the spotteds is 6 inches it only gets to half the size of the stripped rapheal, so my barbs and beta would be safe through out the spotted's life even if i got another spotted. spotteds are very clumsy hunters they have a better chance waking up a small sleeping fish in the middle of the night rather than eat one, betta way to big to be considered food the barbs are to quick and a little on the to big side for the spotted.

if they happen to disappear you know why...

cherry barbs get just over an inch long, spotted raphs get 8" from what i've found, even a 6" one has the mouth size to eat a 1" fish...

hopefully you're right about the spotted raph

banjos still sound good to me

real funny obryan , ill feed the rtc koi while am at it.

I've got a banjo catfish in a 20L tank. He's pretty cool looking, but not much for moving around. Ever. I can pick him up and he doesn't seem to mind, or even bother to react. The only time I see him move is if I drop a piece of food right in front of his mouth. Then its just a little twitch, and the food mysteriously disappears...

he's happily living with kuhli loaches and some otocinclus right now, and has lived with a betta, different gourami's, and even danios.
