I want cichla...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The best thing about cichla is that they are big and have color and personality to back it up. Hard to beat a big ol monster tank as well. A 400g+ tank with some nice bass is hard to beat IMO.

Agreed! sadly not all of use can get a 400 gallon. Buy some of the smaller species, grow them out in your 75g, save your beans and when the time comes upgrade to something bigger!

DO IT!!!! cichla is the only way to go IMO.

look at me i wanted cichla back wen i first joined mfk in 2008.. realistically didnt get my first cichla for years after that...... researching and saving $$ for bigger homes before i bought them! Now im rocking the big tanks lol

Yeah, I really do love those big tanks full of bass, but I think it would be cool if you could do a miniature p bass tank.

I wonder if anyone has ever tried to mix P bass with largemouths. off topic question but I just thought of it.

Impossible not the same sp. Plus it wouldn't make them any smaller, the world record LMB and Dottie the LMB were in the 32+" range

I feel, what makes them interesting is their size. We're MONSTERfishkeepers.

do you mean cross breeding or putting lmb with pbass?
cross breeding is impossible but putting them together should be fine
