i have 7 discus that are from discus hans they are about 4-5 inches and i was wanting frontosas. there is a guy by me that is wanting to trade 7 frontosas that are about 10 inches he is wanting to do an even trade for them. i dont think that is fair i feel that discus are worth more i want to know what everyone thinks of this.
the frontosas i was told are Nsumba Blue Fronts F1

That sounds about right to me, but I'm not sure on the going price for fronts. How old are your discus, what and what size did you get them at?????
 
Well I just got the discus in a trade and I think there like a year old

Fronts take forever to get that big. looks like a nice mix of males and females.your discus while nice are only red turks and bd so nothing to exotic and from the looks of the pics only about 4inches.....if i wanted frontosa i would make this trade in a heartbeat.
 
thanks for the input i think i will do the trade the guy is going to breed them too and he said he would give mt the first batch fry so it is worth it. i was going to breed them but dont have the time for the water changes and to get my ph down to the proper lvl. i think i will have better luck with the fronts they seem a lot easier.
