A while ago I had planned to get a 75g and put a cincta in it and that never happened and blah blah blah.

Well, I have the chance to possibly get a 100G and have been looking for some nice preds for this tank. Remembered how much I used to be obsessed with creni's so I thought why not get some now?

Trying to decide what to go with, a pair of pikes and a jag, or two pairs of pikes. Xingu, Cincta, Marms, so many species to choose.

:nilly:What would you suggest? :nilly:

Xingu 1s ive got two samll ones and their perfect [V]onsters

I can get Xingus really easy. My LFS gets them all the time, I was about to buy the two they had, but one of the guys that works there bought them!

So, I might go for the Xingus. They also get another species of pike, I cant seem to ID it, they have it labled as "Common Pike" though kinda ticks me off that they cant just lable things.

i have 2 baby xingu 1's about 3 inches each living in my sump til they are big enough for the bigger tank. yesterday i added a 4 inch red bay snook and they immediately tried to eat him! lol.. one grabbed his tail and started twisting around and took a big chunk out of the tail while the other was trying to eat the head. i immediately removed the red bay snook and put it with my colony of breeding brichardi's. the brichardi's tolerated him but in the long run i dont think he would be safe with them so i put him back in the sump but with a divider from the little pikes.

If I were to choose, cincta or marmoratas, if you can find either, but I already have adult 'Xingu I's :p , so I'm biased. Marms are more colorful, thus better display animals, typically. Rapps has some sp. 'Cobra", check them out!
