It's a varient of fancy goldfish. Very commonly found in petstores, you should not have trouble finding them at all.

Yup, I always see these guys. At about 1" they are around $1.99 and the size in the picture are around $30 (in big chain stores, I am sure you can find a better deal).

Its hard to find good orandas like the one in the pic. Most of the ones in the U.S. are poorly bred. There's a few websites that sell very nice collector goldfish and could probably find you one like that. Here's one...www.goldfishconnection.com.

I had a nice oranda like that once that was completely black from top to bottom. Those sell for high dollar. Good luck.
