Tank is a 150 Gallons, the stock is as follows breeding pair of GTs that are at the 2.5" mark and 4 YoYo loaches - I plan to add a school of rainbow fish and a few more yoyo loaches.

I would like to add one more larger type fish to this setup - something that you don't see at the Petsmarts and has a good personality and maybe some color.

I had thought about a Fire Eel, but they get too big for my tank, and then thought of a BGK - but my tank/stand is black with black sand and black background so I didn't think a BGK would be a good addition because he'd be in perma camo for my tank.

Fire eel will be fine in a 150, if it gets to the "max" size (39") I'll eat my shoe lol.

How would the eel fair with the loaches? When I first thought about the eel that was before I put the loaches in the tank. The loaches have been with the GTs through several spawns and I think the yoyos are just aggressive enough (maybe too high strung? lol) to really care much about the GTs, they are too involved with eachother.

wait!!!! try the elephant nose fish. It has a great personality (keep in groups) and are good pets. CLOSE ALL OPENINGS - they know only the water world, they know their isolated in a box, so the plan is to get out of the water into the water that we live in. Sadly, we do not live in water. they then would die :(
