i want to build a monster tank

the tank i want to build is 6 feet x 4 feet x 4 feet with 3/4 ply with 2x4 every 6 inch with lined with 1/2 inch acrilic on the insid with a 3/4 acrilic 5 foot window i figure it will be about 700 gallons is that to much material or not enuff

Dave, look at my gallery, that is exactly what i did... but i used 1/2 glass not acrylic...came out nice but i used a pond liner against the plywood..

I'd love to do that size too, but I am worried about maintenance on a tank that is four feet deep. I would probably put it on a low stand, like 1 or 2 feet, but that's still really high and really deep.
Do you have any problems Vinnstar?

Good luck with the tank, im thinking of making my own but around about half your size. If you do it post a step by step<<<< my favorite type of post.
