i want to get a bichir but need info and help first

i want to try out a bichir need some info on temps water conditons and food for him and how big will a dinosaur bichir get thats the 1 thats easy for me 2 get i saw some nice lil ones for sale will a 40 gall tank be a good grow out tank

temp should be between 70 and 80 degrees a little more or a little less wont bother them they eat tailapia beefheart bloodworms earthworms nls sinking carnivores etc. as long as it has a good amount of protein

by dino bichir i asume you mean sengal they get to about a foot and a 40 gallon would be fine as a growout

Temp is wrong keep them at 78*F to 84*F, anything less than 75* is too cold
