i really want a dog but im a CLEAN FREAK!

the only thing thats really stopping me is hair on floors and short pin type hair sticking out on fabrics are the worst.

ive always had outdoor dogs at my parent's which is a house. now that i live in a apartment the dog has to be inside...so does its hair! hahaha

i was wondering if you guys have successfully kept dogs and still keeping it squeaky clean...:D

if your a clean freak dont get a dog . i have a boxer that sheds at diff times of the year and the hiar sticks into almost every fabric there is .it aggrivates me and im deff not a clean freak.

umm what if i bathe and brush its hair regularly?

i dont want no fufu dog but if poodles dont shed as much i think i might reconsider :D

im also considering adopting/rescuing a older dog that is hopefully housebroken already.

you must decide what is important to you.. the companionship and love of a dog.. or some extra cleaning... once you make the choice you are committed..to me the extra hair and dirt and once in awhile accident is a very small price to pay for all the love and devotion and absolute joy.. when you realize what is worth more to you...then you will have your answer.. and in my opinion only a few dogs can be outside dogs.. most deserve the life inside with you .. other wise you never really have a pet that is part of the family... by your side etc.. at least thats how i feel about it..and also... i consider my home clean as a whistle... dogs, birds and fish... hospital clean no... but you can still have sparkling clean with a good vaccum and a little elbow grease..

Dogs are great companions , however some do shed and some shed Alot even with regularr bathing and brushing... its one of those things sometimes you got to take the bad with the good. I do like for my house to be neat and orderley and its a hastle trieing to keep it that way sometimes but in the end they are worth the effort ( at least to me they are) but if you want the perfect dog they have those robotic ones!!! haha

Get a Grey Hound. Barely Shed. Very Quiet. Just watch out, they might steal your seat on the couch!

i think adopting 1 is a better idear than gettin a puppy cause a puppy is hard work they piss and ***** every where untill u have them trianed they chew a tear things up if u leav them alone.if u trian your dog and have patiance you can have the best dog. my dogs 3 yrs old does not chew any thing in the house or go the bathroom in the house (ONLY WHEN HE CANT HOLD IT) but that is rare and he would go right in front of the door to let me know he tried holdin it. also they need alot of exercise and attention deppendin on what type of dog ,if they dont get that they get a little crazy and bored and take fustrations out by chewing things and not listining . its alot more than keeping your house and the dog clean.

Going along with that, Grey Hounds are more often then not, adopted. Grey Hound Angels Adoption. =]

Both of my dogs don't shed. I have a shih tzu and a schnauzer mix. Many poodles/poodle mixes don't shed and they make fantastic pets. Poodles are very smart.
