I've always wanted Frontosa before. I really like the blue ones, zaire blue would be nice, but I don't have that kind of money. So what are some cheaper more reasonable ones to purchase that are still blue? I have a 125 which they will go into, preferably a colony of them. Any Fronts that would fit that category?

Also I know pretty much nothing about African Cichlids which is why I will research about the kind of Front that fits that scenario for me, not trying to cut bases here. Just trying to narrow down the search area.

Also again, I've seen these Buffalo head cichlids at a LFS and I would like to get some of them. Not the same tank unless it will work of course, but what is their scientific name, I googled some and can't find much.

Steatocranus casuarius is your buffalo head.. unless you were trying to describe something else? look that up and see if its it.

As for the frontosa unless you want to drop some cash like you noted. You could look at a variant llike kapampa or something which fry usually sells at $~25/1 fry at 1inch, this is on the cheaper side. However the mpimbwe have a nice blue coloration to them if you want to google them and they are much cheaper. The only other cheaper option I can think of is Kigomas but I dont think they are what you are looking for.

Concur with the Mpimbwe variant as an option (and other Tanzanian variants as well). Fairly blue and (typically) affordable:

Shoot a pm to Justin New2natives. I think he still has some for sale at a good price.

Thanks everyone. This helps alot, I can start somewhere. After looking at the prices on some zaires, I think it would be best if I start with a cheaper kind. I've never kept african cichlids before. The other ones you all have mentioned look blue enough for me, thanks. Also nice pic!
