So i would like to keep a Volitans LionFish, as a single specimen. I live upstairs in a flat and whilst its a sturdy building, i don't want to risk a huge tank.
So i was wondering if i could keep one in a 3x2x2? Or a less deep but as wide 4 foot tank? I think 3x2x2 is 300 ltrs, and i would add a sump for bio with skimmer in and use a Fluval FX5 as the return for sump. I would use the fx5 primarily for mechanical filtration and would use the chambers for chemical filtering.
What do you guys think?

300 liters is fine... watch your hands... as well it may be hard getting them off live...
