I am soon to purchase some Caribe Piranhas :]
Would 3 survive as long as having 5?
is a 125 gallon good for 3 or 5adults?
what kind of filter would I need?
How often, what, and how much do I feed it?
how much will I be spending weekly?
if the group of 3 was raised together since they were babies will they kill each other in the future?

any other info you may add... because I really want them and I would not want to let them die

if you're using a 125 go with 5 or more

a shoal of 5 would be much more active and give you a better look at how they act in the wild

A fx-5 would do, you can double up with a couple of HOB or just make your own sump instead of the canister

3-4 times a day as babies, 2-3 times a week as adults. Feed as much as they'll eat, take out extras
how much will I be spending weekly?
food is cheap if you buy frozen shrimp or fish fillete or pellets, no more then a couple of bucks a month
if the group of 3 was raised together since they were babies will they kill each other in the future?
piranha can eat each other at anytime and caribe tend to be more aggressive then red belly piranhas. it doesn't matter how often or what you feed them, they can still turn on each other

Read this thread for anything you can feed your piranhas

you could do up to 7 in a 125g. You can do either 3 or 5 if you want. Personally i would do mare just incase of any cannibilism.

For a filter I would do a eheim2217 cannister and another eheim 2217 and or an ac110

For food as babies 1-3 times a day is good. As adults weekly is fine. You can buy bags of shrimp, fillets... for about 5-10$ that should last you at least a month. Some people have gotten free scraps from any seafood place for free but either way it is not very expensive to feed them. One feeding for an adult coudl be 1 medium to large shrimp per fish of a fillet for a group so they won't be eatting a ton.

You cannot predict cannibilsm which is why I suggest getting more thyen you want just incase you lose one or more. I always say it is easier to sell of extras then it is to replace dead fish that leave you with less then you wanted.

i would go with 6 or 7 in a 125 and i wouldnt reccomend anything but a common pleco for tankmates
