Hey,
yesterday,i went at lfs and found some good sized i.e. nearly 2" jewel cichlids which were nearly a month before 1/2".i asked the keeper that how have they grown that much in that time,he told me this was due to growth hormone.somebody told me that it is bad for fish's health.i asked about it to him that was it true or not.He told me that it is bad but fishes that you get at 5" are already growth hormoned and the supply of fishes is that much that if they dont use it they have to wait for fishes for years. So, i had to ask i it a bad practise or so.if not i will also like to try them on my jewel's and flowerhorn baby fries.Or is there any substitute to these growth hormones like natural growth hormones or so.I have been doing daily large water changes but the fries are not growing even to 1" in a month or so.So,help needed
.
Thanks
