My dad is a big fisherman and when I told him I was starting to dabble and wanted to get some saltwater rigs he gave me 3 poles.
Zebco 6'6" Genesis Rod/reel combo w/ Gen30 reel
Zebco Stingray 8'6" rod with an old Condor South Bend reel
Abu Garcia 8ft graphite composite rod with a Hurricane Kobia reel.
The Genesis is new and I just wiped it down and put fresh Cajun 10lb line on it. The Abu Garcia seems to be OK and I put 17lb Stren Original on it. The Stingray rod seems to be OK but the Condor reel has some rust and the drag doesn't work.
I am new to this stuff and since the stuff is older I don't know much about it. Anybody familiar?
