So I grabbed this tiny SNC in Sacramento about a month ago, they said it was a TSN but I have my doubts about it. .. they said one he reaches about 6 inches his color will change and he will look more like the silver colored tigers with the darker patterns. ...

Could anyone I.D. this guy for sure at the size he is now? Thanks.

He hide for the first two weeks and though I never saw him eat, the minnows I was placing I there for the gar were disappearing and I knew the gar would only eat a few...

We'll he came out after about two weeks of hiding and has about doubled in size....
He is so cool...

So should I expect something like this from him? This one was labeled TSN also or does someone have a better representation of what he may grow to look like?Tiger shovelnose cat.jpg

He is currently in a 55 while I search for a 300 plus, I had one lined up but the flaked at the last minute. I figure I have 6 months or at least in the 55 but I'll have my big tank before that.
I also have the 120g but that's housing my arrows for now...
Let's not turn this into a "you need a bigger tank" thread , I know I do and will have one soon enough.

Anybody else care to share a pic of there TSN for reference. ....
Thanks again reefman for the validation.

Here's a couple slightly older pics of him and a photo bomb from one of the angels he's hangin' out with.20160221_204419.jpg 20160221_204226_015.jpg
