Somewhere lost
So when I went to my turtle pool to get some goldfish out of it(mainly there to give the turtles exercise they are not the main food so please do not bash me for this) I looked at the basking rock and at first gimps before I was even near it I figured it was the baby turtle. When I got closer and actually looked it was a young bull frog. He is roughtly 2.3" body size. My question is, should I leave him be or take him out? I have a young painted turtle in there only 2". What is the growth rate on the bull frog? I don't want to take him out because there is no water for him to go to other then the pool. I am not even sure how he made it to my pool. But I don't want him to eat my baby turtle. There are goldfish, 3 roseys and guppies so he will have stuff to eat. But I don't want to risk it if he will grow fast and eat my turtle before the turtle out grows it. There also is a 4" res in there. So should I keep the frog or try and find someplace else for it? I can't bring it inside and care for it as I have no place for it.

I don't believe the 2.3" Bullfrog will grow fast enough to be a threat to a 2" (and growing) Turtle.

if anything the turtle will eat a frog even if bigger. it will latch on to it and tear something off. chances are they wont run into each other if the space is large though to be honest

Agreed.
