I realize for some of you southerners that's probably not a real big deal being so close and all, but coming from land-locked the midwest this trip was pretty sweet for us. Some pics of our vacation in Puerto Morelos Mexico.
This is a pic of our room. Very nice. It has a motion sensor on the wall that shuts off power to lights, tv, etc and turns on the air conditioning. The beds were hard as rock though. Woke up with shoulder pain each morning, but when all you have to do is drink all day and sit by the ocean its hard to complain.

Down by the beach there were hundreds of cabanas, and some areas even had beds! The waitressess would bring drinks right down to the beach for you.
All around the resort there were lizards. Maybe some of you guys can identify them. This little guy was always in the same place along a path we took to the beach.
