France !!
Hi,

If i would like to choose a stingray, could you help me in my choice ?

Little stingray : 20cm / 8in maximum circumference
No venomous sting ? (i'm not sure of my english)

Is there a such ray ??

Thanks

im prity sure the all have poison but i dont think you are going to get stung and i woud say a tea cup ray. but keep in mind that you need massave filtration to keep any kind of ray (talking from experience ).
and also dont keep it with cat fish there like a snack for catfish (experience also).
good luck though, very cool fish

There is no freshwater stingray that meets the requirements you have listed.

Any ray you get will require a very large tank, even if you get a "teacup stingray" which are most commonly reticulated stingrays. True they don't grow as large as some of the other species, but they are definitely not small. I personally owned a reticulated "teacup" ray that had a 16" disc, and a 16" tail.

Not very "teacup" anymore!

I would suggest spending plenty of time reading the stickies in the stingray forum. They will help you to understand what is needed to house a ray, and to pick the right one for you. :)

I hadn't seen stingray forum :D. I'm not sure that i could found one in France. And i search documentation to do the good things and not go in wrong ways

Merci. C'est très intéressant. :)

My new tank is a 40 square inch base. But i have 4 Oscar and 1 pleco
I'm not sure it's plenty compatible.

What do you think about this ?

non compatible, ce n'est pas assez d'espace pour quatre Oscars.

désolé.

ce qui est la mesure de tous les côtés?

si mon français est mauvais, je peux parler l'anglais..... :D
