i would like to get a baby stingray home.

I would like to get a baby stingray home.
before i get one. I would like to ask something.
My tank has some ADA sand about 3 inches thick.
the ray like to hide in the sand?

I just scare the ray will make the water so dirty.

i wouldn´t be worried about the tank getting dirty , i´d me worried about the stingray getting it´s belly irritated, really don´t know anything about ADA sand
