I never heard of any trade magazine on eartheaters. There was a book published by Thomas Weidner in 2000 called 'South American Eartheaters". It's out of print and hard to find now. The occassional copy that hits tha market usually demands high $. There's the Cichlid News Magazine. But, it encompasses all cichlids.

Weidner has several Family/Genus specific books out. However, they're currently only available in german:
