Kind of like the lochness monster, there is a myth that a big monster or worm swims around in a lake called Lagarfljót which is 25 miles long and 367 feet deep.
A couple years ago, a 67 year old farmer shot this video in Lagarfljót of something large and worm-like swimming against the stream.
The water temperature is 5-15°C/40-60°F depending on time of year.
The river is freshwater, and since there are a lot of water-creature enthusiasts on this forum I thought I would start a discussion... What could it be?

^ That or just another BS story. Every country these days has to have their own mythological creature. And it is always some poor quality photo/video from far away too where you can never get a good look. And even if it is real, why does it always have to be a monster or strange creature? Couldn't it just be a new species of an animal or one related to a known one? I guess it isn't that exciting/intriguing if it were something like that.

It was debunked as something natural, can't remember what exactly off hand, can try to find it.

Doesn't mean there isn't a monster, just that the video isn't it.
