Hey guys im still pretty new to fishkeeping and i have peacock bass thats about 3 inches and it looks like he has ich. Does anyone have any tips to get rid of this? Ive been reading that its good to turn the heat up add more arration and add some salt? But im just not sure what to do can you help me!?

thanks!!

I had the same problem and all i did is turn the temp up to 82 and add some salt and it took about 4days and it was gone i left the pemp up at 82 for a few more days and turned it back down to 80

raise the temp to 84 degrees, and add a tablespoon of salt for every ten gallons of water. Do water changes daily, and add the amount of salt that was taken out with the water. ICH is a protazoan with a lifespan of two weeks. it is impossible to fight it while it is on the fish, it is only vulnerable when it falls off to reproduce(after two weeks). So it is imparative that you continue treatment for that long. After the ICH dissapears continue the treatment for a week or so, as ich tends to make reappearences.
