ich medications and fish

i know that i can't use ich medications with my rainbow shark in the tank, but how about with my tire track eel. Do i have to remove him to medicate?

It depends on the meds, avoid clout, and the original rid-ich, Rid-ich 2 was formulated with more sensitive fish in mind so maybe that one. Both fish mentioned will tolerate salt/heat treatment as described in the sticky.

Is ick guard2 a good med for clown leaches?

I do not know what is in Ick Guard 2 but there is a review of it on Loaches Online that says it is pretty useless as a treatment once the infestation is established.
