Okay I'll keep a eye on him. He acts fine. Swims and eats great. Doesn't hide 90% of the time.
Is the sev glancing (itching itself) on tank decor?
If not the spots could be harmless, if it is scratching itself, I would begin treating the tank immediately.
Shall we assume, it was not quarantined?
If not and it is scratching, the entire population of the tank is at risk.
Its hard to tell from the photos presented, the area that needs to be seen is not very clear.

Fish was not quarantined as I am new and I know I should get one. But the fish doesn't itch on anything. The the rest of the population look great. Just did a 40% water change
Probly nothing to worry about. But you could add 2 cups of freshwater aquarium salt over about a 12 hour period
