Ich problem, what to do with new fish?

I just bought 4- 5" silver dollars and a Texas cichlid. When I got home I noticed some of my already existing sds have what look like Ich. What should I do with the new fish? Only other tank I have that could be used as a quarantine tank until I rid my big tank of Ich is a 5 gallon. Help?

Increase temp slowly 2 degrees an hour until you reach 80 and dose with aquarium salt always has worked for me

See if you can return the fish to the store you bought them at. Explain your problem and ask them to hold them for you. Otherwise there isn't much you can do with 5 new fish and a 5 gallon tank.

fed up of this disease .. made my life diffecult with the clown loaches even thinking seriously to get rid of them

OK, I borrowed an empty 29 gallon from a friend and seeded the filters with some bacteria from my other healthy tank. Let's hope I can get the Ich under control

no meds, just temp and salt i swear by this method

Put the temp up to 86, and aquarium salt 1 teaspoon per 5 gallons for a week. Do a 25% water change. Add salt only to replacement water. Repeat but this time do a 50% water change., Then bring temp back down to 82 over 2 days. Ich should be gone.
