ich remover for tigs.

whats an ich remover that will not hurt the tigs.
i know salt will effect them.
and also any sort of ich meds that has copper.
any good brands

Just continue to treat with salt and keep your temps up high in the 80+'s (perhaps 85-86). HIGHLY..HIGHLY Oxygenate your water. I would have a power head to keep the water circulating and a few air stones in the tank.

Remember seeing it on the body is not when it's fatal. It's when they fall off and hatch is when it will cause the problems. Once you see the spot gone from the body just continue to treat. At this point is when the eggs have hatched and are free swimming looking for a host to attack. The high temp will kill it at this point. Continue for several days.

thisistong, I had filamentosums and they somewhat look like tigs. Well you know that catfish are sensitive to most ich meds and you have to use half dose. Well one ich medication works perfect, ICH ATTACK, its an organic ich medication, you can use full dose. I used it on my filas and they were fine and made it.

Having Pbass's they are pretty easy to get ick but have always been an easy cure for me with just the combination of Salt & High Temp... Key is killing it when it hatch.

I've seen people on here say the higher the temp, the lower the life-span of ich. Also heard someone say that 86 degrees is the point that it can't reproduce itself (or whatever ich does to stay alive ). I'm just basing this on what I think I remember reading...
