Ok,
So i have a male sailfin molly, seems to have these little sugar grain sized white dots on his tail fin, and a couple on the dorsal. Im guessing Ich?
Anyway, he shares a tank with a peacock eel aswell. Is it safe to treat the tank? Some websites recommend half dosage for scaleless fish, is this the case?
Thanks,
Paul

I prefer the salt and heat method, especially for spiney eels and loaches as they are very sensitive to several meds, mollies and peacock eels tolerate 86 F and 2 teaspoons salt per gallon, check the sticky about ich.

Hmm, thanks for the advice, but one more question:
Do the little white spots usually seem sparkly?
The ones on my saildin's tail, which is the only fish in the tank that i can see them on, seem sparkly/ reflective. Could this just be the pattern on him?
