I introduced some neons to my pirahna tank two days ago, and know some of them have visable sighs of ick on them.:nilly: I put them in a seprate tank as soon as I saw it and cleaned the gravel in my pirahna tank in a desprate atempt to suck up any spores. I have had ick in other fish tanks before and I have treated it before. I have two diffrent medicens and I was wondering witch one would be best for RBP's. One's called AQUARI-SOL and it contains ZYCOSIN (Soluble Copper Salts). and there other is called ICH-X and it contains formaldehyde (<5%), methanol (<2%), malachite green chloride (<0.1%). If any one knows a better one please let me know.

right now nether of the Pirahna's have sighns of ick and i'm hopeing that I was lucky enough to get it before it spred (I dought it). I also have a fresh water clam and cherry shrimp in my pirahna tank so should I remove them before I start the treatment?

PS. I know my spelling bad, I was in a hurry.

id raise the temp to 28 celcius and add aquarium salt with out taking the neons out

bring up the temperature to 82F and aquarium salt (follow the dose amount on instruction tap)

I treated the infected fish in a separate tank and they are making good progress. I added marine salt to the piranha tank and they still aren't showing any white spots so i think they didn't catch it.:)
