Ok iv bought a couple fish from this new fish store in indy, i just moved here and it looked like a very good place. So i got 3 jewel cichlids, and all three died in 2 days. It didnt look like they had ick on them. But i noticed my pictus catfish weren't very active lately. So i looked at them... they have a bunch of little white spots on them.. So i know it came with those 3 fish. So i freaked out because i have a 11 inch black ghost knife in the tank that is like my best friend. I looked at him and he has some white spots on him too. So i went to the store and asked them what to use and they recommended the ich-x by hikiri, so i used a 3/4 dose because i know that the black ghost is scaleless and a full dose might hurt him/ kill him
is that what i should do, or do i need to change something.
