I just took out my two Black Fin sharks and separated them. They apparently have the Ich disease. I also noticed a day before, my large snail had become very ill (Lack of movement, depression, ect.) What is the best way to deal with this horrible parasite? I have only been on the hobby of fish keeping for about 3-4 Months, but have had Betas for over a year. So fresh water fish are a new thing for me. Thanks.

Great...they both are dying at this very moment...this is depressing. Flipping upside down and spazing out....(sigh)
if there still alive i would bring temp up 86 like 1-2 degrees an hour, oxygenate the water well since the warmer water has less oxygen. treat with aquarium salt 1 tablespoon per 10 gallons, some people use more but that has always worked for me.
