ich?

i just noticed my pimelodus pictus is sick it looks like ich but it kind of looks like white fuzz on parts of the fish and where the fins meet the body its red right there. the fish is just sitting at the top of the aquarium not moving is this ich or something else and how should i treat it?

i dont have a camera or a testing kit for my tank i just noticed the fish like that today

it sounds like a type of fungus. really without pics and a water test its hard to say what caused it or if just treating the fish will help correct the problem that even caused it. is the fuzzy spots around the area of the redness?

Regardless of what it is.. Add salt and do a water change or two.

Ich and fungus often go hand in hand as the lowered resistance and the sores caused by the ich allow the fungus to take hold, salt and heat will take care of ich and some fungus infections
