I recently received fish that were shipped to me and I noticed after 1 day in tank some of my little severums have few white dots on there tail, they are eating and seem normal should I still treat with salt. I heard salt is bad for plecos is that true

Also I took off carbon from my filters should that help too

Would add salt and up the heat if it's Ich.

Some fish are sensitive to salt. It's been thought certain catfish are but others argue different. Specifically about Cory cats.

As far as I know plecos should be ok with salt.

Okay thanks I will add some salt. I checked today and they seem to have Less than last night which is good
