Ick and Convits eggs.

I had a recent outbreak of Ick that I have been fighting for a couple days now.. I did notice however that a pair of my Convicts are spawning the eggs were deposited on a fake plant I have in the aquarium and they have dug out all the rocks in a small cave. I checked this morning and the eggs were gone and the convicts have moved into the cave.

I have 2 questions.. Will the medication Im using kill the eggs and are Convicts known to move the eggs?

The meds will most likely kill the eggs but don't worry they'll breed again. Sounds like they're already scoping out the cave.
